“Kurrizi Tunnel” Opens in Prishtina
In Prishtina, the “Kurrizi Tunnel” was officially inaugurated after several months of renovation and improvement works. On June 28, 2025, the Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, together with officials and citizens, attended the opening ceremony of this project, which cost the capital more than 1.2 million euros.
Përparim Rama emphasized that the project is not only an infrastructural improvement but also a cultural and artistic space for the residents of the Dardania neighborhood and the entire city. The tunnel now offers a well-lit and well-ventilated environment, with bicycle lanes and areas for organizing various events, including concerts and community activities.
