How to reach Prishtina

Getting to Prishtina

Prishtina is well connected and easy to reach by air, road, or regional bus. It can be accessed by car from neighboring countries like Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia via major highways such as the R7 from Albania and the E80 from Serbia. Adem Jashari International Airport (PRN), 14 km from the city center, offers direct flights to key European cities.

From Albania, the A1/R7 highway (the “Ibrahim Rugova” highway) provides a direct, scenic route to Prishtina. Travelers from North Macedonia use the E65 through Skopje, then continue on the M2 highway into Kosovo. Montenegro and Serbia are linked by regional roads leading to the capital.
